The short version: this site sets no cookies of its own. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no tracking of any kind, and therefore no cookie banner to click away.
Why there is no banner
Cookie banners exist because sites track people. This one does not, so there is nothing to ask your permission for. You are not being counted, profiled or followed around the internet from here.
What that means in practice
- No Google Analytics or any other analytics
- No Facebook, Meta or advertising pixels
- No session cookies, because there is nothing to log into
- No preference cookies, because there are no preferences to remember
The one exception
Cloudflare, who host this site, may set a strictly necessary security cookie if their systems think a request looks like an attack. It exists only to tell a real visitor apart from a bot. It does not track you between sites and it is exempt from the consent rules for that reason.
Google Fonts
The typefaces load from Google's servers. That sets no cookie, but it does mean your IP address reaches Google. It is covered properly in the privacy policy rather than buried here.
If this ever changes
If I ever add analytics, a proper consent banner goes up first and this page changes on the same day. I am not going to add tracking quietly and hope nobody reads this.
